Day of Action for Philadelphia schools!

In conjunction with Education Voters PA, Parents United supports a Day of Action for Philadelphia schools. Our children continue to be short-changed because of a failure to provide adequate resources to schools. Without sufficient funding, our schools can’t provide the basic programs and services our children need to have an opportunity to learn. The state budget continues to be inadequate and unfair; nevertheless, we still need to do more at the City level. The City must find additional resources for schools.

City Council has the power to act NOW to approve $120 Million in recurring funding through an extension of the sales tax with the first $120 million going to City Schools.

Join parents and others on Thursday, March 13th, to let Council know we want them to get it done with no more delay.

Join Education Voters PA to stop by at Council offices at 9 am, 12 pm & 4 pm. Spend as much or as little time as you can spare. Fact sheets and talking points will be provided – all you need to do is be there!
